🎉Congratulations to our incredible CIF State Scholar Athletes: Ananya G. and Ethan A. They have been integral members of Geffen Academy Athletics and their leadership and hard work will continue to inspire our athletes.

👏Ananya has been one of Geffen Academy’s strongest swimmers and consistently earned 1st & 2nd Team All-League honors throughout her swim career. She was also a key member of the girls soccer team this winter. She has been captain of the swim team since her junior year and in the words of swimming and diving Program Director Melissa Ribeiro: “Ananya goes above and beyond, pushing herself from 2100 yds to 3100 yds without hesitation. That level of discipline and drive cannot be taught. It comes from within, and she carries it with strength and grace. She is consistent, relentless, and exceptional! Keep going, keep pushing, keep believing in the greatness that`s already within you."

🔥Ethan has participated in over 5 different sports at Geffen Academy and earned 2nd Team All-League distinction in his junior season on the Varsity Soccer team.

📢From Boys Soccer Program Director Arron Craggs: “Ethan was an invaluable asset to the team, not only due to his exceptional performance but also his positive and supportive personality. He possesses a strong mindset and consistently rises to every challenge with a positive attitude. He is always willing to offer support, mentorship, and constructive feedback to contribute to the team’s success. We are lucky to have him as part of the Geffen Varsity Soccer program!” ...

🎉Congratulations to our CIF-SS Scholar Athletes! Macy B. and Stevan M. are exceptional athletes and we are so lucky to have them on our rosters!

👏Macy has been captain of the Varsity⚽team since her junior year and received 2nd Team All-League designations each season. Apart from soccer, she is also an important member of our 🎾team and always showcases her sportsmanship and team spirit.

Girls 🎾Program Director Ron Booth: "I am proud to have heard that Macy has been honored with the CIF Academic Achievement Award, a prestigious recognition celebrating student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom! Despite picking up a racquet just 1.5 years ago, witnessing her rapid ascent from JV to a vital Varsity starter during our season highlights her incredible tenacity and aggressive playstyle in high-stakes matches. Coach Elliott and I credit her academic focus and disciplined work ethic for her success in every arena. I believe she will excel in anything she chooses, and will be one heck of a player the rest of her life. With a mature attitude and relentless grit, she is a standout role model who proves that dedication & a positive mindset lead to greatness. Looking forward to watching her success!"

👏Stevan M. has consistently achieved 1st Team All-League designation for Varsity 🏀. He has been team captain since his junior year and earned awards like MVP.

Boys 🏀Program Director Devon McNairy: “For more than 6 years as a member of the program, Stevan has displayed a deep love of the game. His example greatly helped to fuel the current evolution of success and has become the foundation of 🏀at Geffen Academy. From the first day that he was elevated to high school 🏀, he has been a force on the court. It started with him earning an opening day starting spot as a freshman, scoring 38 pts in his first game, taking, and making countless shots from well beyond the 3pt line, and being a tenacious competitor. He would go on to become a 4-year starter, earn numerous League Awards, and become the all-time leading scorer in school history. To be clear, the only place he excelled even more than on the court was in his academic work. Congratulations!" ...
